The Caravan
In March 2020 I began collaborating with The Caravan Stage Company, a non profit theatre company creating original productions on board the decks and rigging of a 100ft tall ship, the Amara Zee. The 2020 Production of “Virtual Rogues” will show in the summer of 2022, in Vancouver and other ports located in the Pacific Northwest.
My role in the production involved creating watercolor paintings to be featured in short video projections throughout the course of the play. These watercolor creations, first brought to life by animators, are then projected onto the scrim or sail of the ship in video segments, appearing as a large, moving background behind the actors.
